 Formerly a village pub, now a delightful house, The Plough is situated in the peaceful rural village of Belchamp St. Paul on the Essex/Suffolk border.

The pub's former coach house has recently been renovated to provide a comfortable self-contained en suite studio flat.

In addition, a double room is available in the main house, again with full en suite facilities.

Our premises have been inspected by the English Tourism Council and we are pleased to have been granted a rating of 4 Diamonds and a Quality Assurance Silver Award.

There are many attractive towns and villages in the area, including Long Melford - centre of the antiques trade - and fascinating medieval Lavenham.
